negative emotions could be of yours or you could have picked them from a friend or from a place. if negative emotions or energy which you are experiencing is not yours then its best to remove them.
but if negative emotions are yours then its worth while to pay attention to them and understand them so that you can remove them from the source. doing so, might give you some insights about yourself which you are suppressing or which you don’t want to face.
you cannot keep on suppressing your reoccurring negative emotions. one day they will come out. so better to transform them by meditation or by creativity or by understanding them. it might need transformation at your end. you might need to grow up to face the reality but the whole process will make you a better and more evolved person.
how to remove negative emotions:
1. exhale out the negative emotions
any intense feeling like anger, hatred, jealousy, lust etc can be just thrown out of your system with each exhaling breath. just visualize the emotion which is troubling you is going out with each strong exhalation of breath. just focus on exhalation strongly from mouth. don’t worry about inhalation as it will happen on its own. after few minutes of this exercise you will feel lighter and free from negativity.
another step you can add to this exercise is to breathe in positivity. once you done with exhalation exercise then do this positive breathing exercise. now breathe in from nose. practice slow, harmonious and deep breathing. while breathing visualize that you are getting filled with positive energy with each incoming breath. it will work best for those people who have strong visualization skills.
2. let water clean you of negative emotions.
water is one of the best medium to clean yourself of negative emotions. go and take a head bath. or you can go for a swim. if you can add some sea salt to the bucket then it will help more. as sea salt has the property of removing the negative energy. you can add some sea salt in water while mopping the floor also.

4. do something positive or any good deed
when you do something positive then you immediately feel good. you can participate in any community service activity or plant a tree in your locality or help someone in need.
doing positive for yourself means getting in touch with your old friends or talking to your loved ones. or getting a good body massage or practice yoga or meditation or anything which is good for your physical and mental well being. it could also mean cooking a delicious and healthy meal for yourself. or it could be cleaning your house and make it pleasing. do something positive instead of focusing on negative feelings.
5. meditate to transform negative emotions
meditation can transform any negative emotions. with meditation you can understand your negative emotions and the root cause of your suffering and pain. it also gives you a better prospective of the situation. your discrimination power increases. you get to know yourself better and you become more sensitive and considerate person. so learn the art of meditation and then you can witness your thoughts and slowly you can witness your negative emotions as well. once you know how to watch your emotions in a detached way then negative emotions cannot trouble you. this is because now you have become the master of your mind.
6. remove things which reminds you of negative times

7. develop a hobby
cultivate a hobby like gardening, cooking, baking, pottery, yoga, meditation, handicrafts. whenever the negativity start surrounding you then spend your energy and time in your hobby or in doing things which you love. people who spend time doing what they love, rather than worrying or watching cinema are much happier and creative people.
8. spend time in nature

9. surround yourself with positivity
