if tibet dies then its the death of our spiritual mother
what is the importance of amazon forests for us?
they are called the lungs of earth
as they provide bulk of much needed oxygen
alright.
what is the importance of tibet for us
tibet is the soul of this planet
if tibet dies then its the death of our spiritual mother
without tibet, we are as good as a orphan
when someone starts his spiritual journey
then it takes many lifetimes before one becomes a buddha
buddha is an enlightened being who has attained nirvana
and will be on this planet earth for one last time
and after this life will not take another body
buddha is the highest flowering of human consciousness
and buddha raises the consciousness of whole humanity
as the consciousness of humanity increases
humanity becomes more sensitive, more loving and more intelligent
human beings have evolved from animals
what elevates men from animals is their higher level of consciousness
animals are unconsciousness beings
whereas man is much more conscious than animals
and has the potential to raise his consciousness higher and higher
and it usually takes many life times
when a seeker raises his consciousness enough to attain to his buddhahood
buddhahood is the climax and destiny which is waiting in all of us in the seed form
one day all of us will become a buddha
we all are moving towards buddhahood
but for most of us the progress is very slow
as we are not interested in spirituality
and if this disinterest continues,
then it might take millions of life time before we attain to our buddhahood
those seekers who shows keen interest in spirituality
needs conducive environment and place to grow
just like we send our children to schools for education
these seekers of truth are made to take birth in tibet for fast growth
many evolved spiritual beings choose tibet as their birthplace
e.g. the enlightened master osho was born in tibet in his previous life
getting born in tibet is a blessing for a spiritual seeker
as the whole country is devoted to spirituality
there is a ancient tradition in tibet
that every family has to contribute one child to the monastry
the principle of bardo which helps in the journey after death
is a common practice in tibet
the mantra โon mani padme humโ is heartbeat of people.
people in tibet follows the teachings of gautam buddha and other buddhist masters
people are simple and innocent
love is the way, compassion is their armor and meditation is their way of living
in tibet, they believe in transforming hatred into love and anger into compassion
one of the tibetan enlightened master atisha has taught a heart meditation
in this meditation, the meditator is suppose to take
the suffering, misery, negativity and darkness of the world
and in return gives back all his joy, bliss and peace to the world
that is the way tibetan people have lived till now
through their meditation they try to transform
hatred into love, anger into compassion, unconsciousness into consciousness
i remember, one article of hollywood actor and buddhist โrichard gereโ
once a old monk came to meet dalai lama after many years
dalai lama remembered that he was not a very good monk
when dalai lama had last seen him
this old monk told that many times in tibet
he was in great danger
dalai lama was expecting to hear stories of
chinese brutality and violence on him
instead the old monk said
that many times the situation was so bad
that i was almost getting angry
in tibet getting angry is not the way
compassion is the flower which they share with everyone
this old monk was all the time putting his energy
to transform his anger into compassion
you know what is the importance of tibet for us
it is priceless
tibet acts as recycling plant for the negativity and the hatred of this world
tibet spreads the vibrations of peace, stillness, love, brotherhood and compassion
to the whole world
if tibet dies then it as good as we are allowing our spiritual mother to die
and i am sure most of us will see it happen
as they will do nothing about this issue
but i hope and wish that you will prove me wrong
