food nourishes you and gives you energy. but all vegetables does not carry the same amount of energy and nutrition. nutrients and prana/energy in the vegetables depends upon various factors like:
- what kind of fertilizers and chemicals are used. excessive use of fertilizers is not good. always better to go for organic vegetables and fruits.
- quality of water used for growing the vegetables.
- amount of sunlight and soil condition etc
- how much care is taken in storing as well as transporting the vegetables and fruits.
if the vegetables are stored in a dirty place then naturally they lose their prana over a period of time. similarly, if the water used is not good then again it affects the vegetables and fruits. so while buying vegetables i always prefer to use my intuition and feelings.
if you want to test the prana or vibrancy in fruits and vegetables then you can do this experiment. hold the vegetable in your hand and feel how much it is vibrating with energy or you can ask yourself – “should i buy this vegetable”? ย treat vegetables and fruits as living beings and you can easily sense the vibrancy or energy levels of the vegetables in this way. the center of your palm is connected to the third eye and if the minor chakra in your palm is little active then it will be more easier to check the vibrancy of vegetables.
i do not prefer to eat at places which are not hygienic and i also do not buy vegetables from the vendors which are not clean. organic food is one of my favorite and now a days they are available in most shopping malls. in organic food use of fertilizers and chemicals are prohibited so they are costlier. but in the long run you save money on medical bills as organic food is more healthier than food produce using fertilizers. moreover the organic food taste much better.
another important thing is to eat the cooked fresh as over a period of time it loses its vibrancy. one of my friend who has a very sound knowledge of ayurveda always suggest to have freshly cooked food. if you eat left over food or refrigerated food then it leads to ‘vata dosha’ as per ayurveda.
from a spiritual point of view there are many types of prana which we all have seen as kids. do you remember small spiral threads floating in air? its just like when you burn any incense like lobhan you see spiral threads floating in air. this is how the prana looks like and every kid sees them.
you can see them as grown up person also but we are so much hurried in our day to day living that we don’t have time for such things. human prana is different from the prana of trees. you can also see the prana of tree… it will be floating just above the tree. if you want to try seeing prana of tree then focus ยฝย feet above the tree where it is more dense. look constantly at tree top for around one minute without blinking eyes and you will be able to see the tree prana.
if you want to go further in this dimension then you can try seeing the human aura also. the best part of body to focus to see aura is head where the aura is most dense. look at 2 inch above your head in mirror for around one minute without blinking eyes. you can see the aura of your friend also who could be standing at a distance of at least 5 feet against white background wall. yellow color light is good for such experiments. human aura has different colors but as a beginner you will only see white color. each color in human aura represents some aspect e.g. green color is for peace.
