Its the materialistic time. Most people are after money, power, fame or after some other gain.
In Hinduism we call the current age as ‘kali yuga’. According to hindus, Kali yuga is the time when moral values will decline and people will give more importance to making money than to live an ethical life. This is the period of fall of dharma when truth won’t be spoken by everybody. Not many people will be fair and honest in their dealings. The power and attraction of money will spoil people mind and will make them do immoral things. Money will rule the world in kaliyuga.
So if you are one of those people who wants to make money then i suggest make the type of money which you can take along with you, when you die. This plastic money or currency notes you cannot take with you after death or to next birth. So make that kind of money which can travel with you to next life. Think like a real businessmen and don’t spend your time and energy in making money which will last only for one life time.
Real money which you should earn in this life:
1. Good Karmas
If you know someone who has achieved success easily then one of the reason could be his good karmas in the past. What else you can owe to the amazing success of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of facebook. Good karmas will help you here in this world as well as in the after life also. They always protect you and guide you to the right direction. So be very careful about the kind of karmas you are generating because they become part of you. Karma is energy which one day you will have to face. With your karmas you write your destiny. 2. Mastery in inner sadhana or any spiritual art form
I feel it will be injustice with Mark Zuckerberg, if i just owe his success to good karmas only. Another important thing which must have lead to Mark Zuckerberg success is his mastery in his field. He must have practiced the art of making money over a period of life times. When you practice any thing over few life times then you become genius in it. Many children start showing signs of genius in them in their early childhood itself e.g. Mozart.
So choose your field carefully. It could be yoga, meditation, music, dancing, singing, martial arts, devotion, mantra chanting or any other spiritual practice. Keep on going deep in any chosen spiritual practice and over a period of life times you will become master of it and one day it will lead to your enlightenment (self realization). You can attain to god via so many different ways. So choose any field which comes naturally and spontaneously to you and become master of it. Choose something which brings harmony and peace inside you. Which makes you whole from within. The more you go deep in your spiritual practice, the more you are coming closer to your true self or to the reality. So walk some distance every life time so that one fine day you experience inner explosion of nothingness (buddhahood).
3. No-mind or Ego-less experiences
Whenever you have experience of no-mind or ego-less state or satori then you get a glimpse of eternity. You come to a timeless zone where ego does not exist. You become one with the whole. Every time you become one with existence, something melts within you. You become more innocent, pure, relaxed and more closer to reality. These experiences transforms your inner world. So try to have more such experiences. Spend time in satsang or with people who have attained the truth. Because when you spend time with real saints then some part of their divinity rubs on you and it refines your soul and opens your heart for spiritual currents. So be open for such experiences and have them as much as you can.
If you want to be greedy then be greedy for such things. Greed as such is not bad. What matter is the object of your greed. So choose the object of your greed carefully, do good karmas and put all your energy in going deeper in your spiritual practice.
